Adam Sandler’s Hanukkah song is egoistic and promotes unhealthy pride, separatism and ethnicism. Holiday songs traditionally promote love, togetherness, warmth and oneness. Christmas songs certainly do. Adam Sandler’s song promotes Jewish pride and postulates that Jewish people are BETTER and that Hanukkah is superior to the Christian’s Christmas.
