Why I'm not a Christian.
Note: I in no way am trying to disparage the Christian
faith. I am merely expressing my thoughts on the subject and enlightening my
audience as to why I do not embrace it. Anyone is free to believe whatever they
choose as long as your faith does not interfere in or oblige my personal freedom.
Intro: I've read the bible through and through. I don't think many Christians
can claim that.

15. Everyone who's never heard of God, Jesus and the Salvation all went to Hell.
Does this make sense to you? So let's say you were born in the 3rd century in
Mongolia - riding horses, living your life, hunting for food, caring for your family,
raising your children. You die a ripe old age of 40 and find yourself in Hell.
You wonder.. " @#$@#@#$ @#$@ - How the @#$@# did I end up here?".
Does this sound fair, logical, rational, or comprehensible? Just because you
didn't accept Christ? "Who's Christ" - you exclaim. I'm a
Mongolian.. never heard of Christ. You thought you were being a decent fellow,
loving your wife, family and friends. But it wasn't good enough! Hey, you have
to "accept" a Christ you never heard of...( hence the need for all Christians to
"preach" the Gospel and proselytize" The rules are cruel, unfair and
not something I'd expect a loving God to rig.
16. The Christian God requires worship and prayer. Do you think a real
God is so insecure it constantly needs to be praised and told how great it is? Told
how beautiful it is? Told how unworthy we are?
17. Satan. So there's a demon roaming around trying to get us to commit
sins? Think about it..
18. Christianity is black and white. It's rules and ideology is
"right" or "wrong". "Good" or "Bad".
It doesn't reflect reality. It reflects a child's reality. But we all know how
"complex" life really is as we grow up. It's not a "mature"
ideology.
19. Most Christians have never studied
or investigated any other religions. But they claim to have the truth and know the
truth because of their "experience". Surprise! - everyone w/ faith has had
the same similar experience. So this "I know what I experienced" line
doesn't hold water. For some reason, most "faithfuls" cannot fathom that
other people of other religions could have experienced the same "eye opening"
transformation and revelation as they have. They don't realize that what they
experienced was an "emotional" experience, and nothing more. No more
special than what the Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim or Jew experienced for their "eye
opening" revelation.
